Mathieu van der Poel is a leader in the Arctic Race of Norway (cat. 2.BC). The Dutchman lost the day after his stage win more than a minute in a waaieretappe which no moment of silent fell. The American Colin Joyce (Rally) won the stage, the Russian Sergei Chernetski (Astana) is the new leader.
Stage 2 between Tana and Kjollefjord with its 195 kilometers through a desolate landscape, the longest of the sixth Arctic Race of Norway and there were five climbs, but it was especially the strong wind in the race dominated.
