Turkey refuses house arrest pastor Brunson to withdraw

ANKARA – A Turkish court has rejected the house arrest of the Us pastor Andrew Brunson. The request is now submitted to a higher court, the message, the newspaper Hürriyet.

Brunson was last month placed under house arrest.

The persecution of Brunson is a key problematic in the relationship between Turkey and the United States, the two NATO allies. The US because of the captivity of the preacher sanctions imposed on two Turkish ministers. The countries bombarding each other now also using trade measures.
