State of emergency in region Genoa

GENOA – The Italian prime minister Giuseppe Conte, the state of emergency was declared in the region of Genoa, where on Tuesday a crucial bridge collapsed. He said that this was at the request of the local authorities to do.

The city is for a long-term verkeersdrama. There are hardly any alternatives for the irreparably damaged bridge.

Tuesday, a collapsed part of the Morandi bridge in which the crucial motorway A10 in the centre of Genoa connects with the airport and west of Genoa, and that virtually the only way in the direction of the Italian Riviera and the south east of France.
