The Italian Manuel Belletti (Androni) took the first ride in line of the Round of Hungary (2.1) won. By his win in the 154-kilometer stage between Balatonalmádi and Keszthely, he becomes the new leader.
During the final run was Beletti faster than his fellow countryman, Matteo Moschetti (Polartec-Kometa) and the Pole Kamil Malecki (CCC Sprandi-Polkowice). By his victory he takes the leader’s jersey from the Swiss rider Patrick Schelling (Vorarlberg Santic), that Tuesday, the prologue had won. Jelle Donders (Differdange-Losch) and Joeri Stallaert (Vorarlberg Santic), the two only Belgians who ride in Hungary, ended Wednesday respectively 67th and 80th.
