The Telenet Fidea cycling team Lions and Tom Pidcock agreed their partnership to end. The British veldrittalent leave so the team of Sven Nys and goes next season for a new British cyclocross team ride.
“I want everyone to of the Telenet Fidea cycling team Lions to thank for everything over the past winter for me to have done. During my months with the team I have gained valuable experience and beautiful results have been achieved. But a nice offer of a British cyclocross team, can I not just next to me resign,” says Pidcock to the site of the team.
“From the first conversations with Tom, we knew how his career would want to build and that he is a rider that is in demand is by WorldTour teams,” says Sven Nys. “In the past year, we have a fine way of collaboration and most of all, we had that for a year longer done. But when a team of that allure him an offer, then we want Tom to stop.”
Pidcock won last season’s ten crosses in the promises and the overall classification in the world cup. At the world CHAMPIONSHIPS in Valkenburg he had, however, an offday.
