Tony Martin will be team Katusha-Alpecin after the season final exit. That has Jörg Werner, manager of the 33-year-old German, Tuesday confirmed to the German press agency DPA. According to The Telegraph’s Martin on the way to LottoNL-Jumbo.
“Katusha-Alpecin is no longer an option because Tony has no new offer received”, explained Werner. “Or he LottoNL-Jumbo pulls? We are in discussion with multiple teams, LottoNL-Jumbo is one of them. Tony has an age at which his choice is well thought out.”
Martin races for the past two years for Katusha-Alpecin, before that, he was a long time active by Quick-Step. The German is currently working on his return after a vertebral fracture that he in a crash in the eighth stage of the Tour of France suffered.
