WASHINGTON – The U.s. national security adviser John Bolton has Monday with the Turkish ambassador in the US talking about American preacher Andrew Brunson. The White House said that this consultation was at the request of the Turkish ambassador Serdar Kilic.

The outcome of the consultation showed the White House is not out. Turkey keeps Brunson in custody. Ankara suspects him of terrorist activities, but according to the U.S. there is no evidence for.
The case does the relationship between Ankara and Washington is no good. Partly because of that mutual tensions, struggling Turkey with a brisk inflation and the price of the lira dropped sharply.
