Lotto-Soudal renew the contracts of three Belgians

Lotto-Soudal has the contracts of three riders. Tosh Van der Sande and Remy Mertz drive also the next two seasons for Lotto-Soudal, Enzo Wouters was given a one-year contract offered.

The 27-year-old Van der Sande can this season, one of the better riders of Lotto-Soudal. His renewal is not a surprise, despite interest from several other teams.

“It was not a difficult decision to for two years to draw,” says Van der Sande. “I was personally requesting party to Lotto Soudal to stay and it is always pleasant if that interest is mutual. I feel very comfortable within the team, where I have been since 2012 part of home. As a Belgian rider within an almost entirely Belgian team, I feel at ease. Everyone has a need to change, but soon I came to the conclusion that I am right within the team.”
