Very young Colombian stores double win in Burgos: ride – and ended

Ivan Ramiro Sosa (Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec), the fortieth edition of the Tour of Burgos (Spa/2.BC) to his name. A stage win on the final day, it was enough for the young Colombian to the leader’s jersey, to address his fellow countryman, Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana).

The barely twenty-year-old Colombian has its victory, thanks to a win in the final stage, about 141 km from Salas de los Infantes to Lagunas de Neila. After the summit arrival, he had a lead of nineteen seconds on his compatriot Miguel Angel Lopez of Astana, more than sufficient to get the leader’s jersey in extremis yet to take over. Sosa was the ride started with a delay of two seconds on his compatriot. The Spaniard Sergio Pardilla (Caja Rural) came in 21 seconds of the winner when third over the finish line.

In the end position has Sosa a lead of seventeen seconds on Lopez. The Spaniard David De La Cruz (Sky) was in his own country third at 53 seconds of the winner. On the roll of honour of the Spanish stage race, he follows Mikel Landa. In 2016, it was Alberto Contador the winner in the Tour of Burgos.
