“I had a better wedstrijdgevoel than yesterday,” said a satisfied Obasuyi, which, this year, fourth at the world CHAMPIONSHIPS U20 in Tampere. “I thought I was under 13.75. Two hurdles I have a little bit grazed, but in general it was a neat race.”
After the forfait of a directly-placed semi-finalist was the West-Flemish are still dredged up for the semi-finals. “This came unexpectedly. I had my mind already on something else. But eventually I was able to get back on that semi-final focus. I have a good season turned. Now follows a small break, I will still just enjoy it”, ended Obasuyi, on Sunday, his 19th birthday.
