The actors Brie Larson, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx are soon to see them together in the new film “Just Mercy”. The recordings start in september. When the movie is exactly true, it is not yet known. Wrote Variety yesterday.
The film is based on the book “Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption”. The story is true and is about Bryan Stevenson (played by Jordan), a talented young lawyer who fights for equal rights in the legal system.
Who Larson and Foxx will play, is not yet known. Previously, Larson appear in “Kong: Skull Island”. With her role in “Room”, she won in 2016 an Oscar. Jordan made more impression in “Black Panther”, and Foxx in “Django Unchained”.
It is the third time that Larson’s work with director Destin Cretton, after her breakout in “Short Term 12” and then “The Glass Castle”. The duo will now store a third time the hands together. Cretton wrote the screenplay with Andrew Lanham (“The Glass Castle”), and the images go next month to start.
