Bahrain-Merida has the advent of the Australian hardrijder Rohan Dennis announced. The 28-year-old Dennis comes in 2019 about the afhakende BMC and signed by the team of sports director Rik Verbrugghe a contract for two seasons. Dennis, well in the past for medals at world CHAMPIONSHIPS and Olympics in the team pursuit, is on the road for years known as a time-trial specialist then. On his list of achievements includes, in addition to three national titles in the time trial also two world titles in the ploegentijdrijden and further stages in the Tour, Giro, Tirreno-Adriatico and Tour of Switzerland.
In Bahrain-Merida they believe that Dennis can do more than time trial only. “He is not only one of the best time trialists in the world, we believe also that he is in big rounds, a ranking can drive. We want to invest in,” said general manager Brent Copeland.
