UCI suspends Gianni Moscon five weeks: an Italian fog Vuelta and the Canadian classics

The International Cycling union (UCI), the Italian Gianni Moscon (Sky) Wednesday a suspension of five weeks imposed. Moscon was last month, after the fifteenth stage from the Tour set after a blow in the face dealt to the Frenchman Elie Gesbert (Fortuneo-Samsic). The Italian offered afterwards extended his apologies, but the UCI now still punished.

His suspension runs from August 8 to september 12. Moscon fog so with certainty the Vuelta (25 August-16 september) and the Canadian classics, GP Quebec (7 september) and GP Montreal (9 september).

Moscon is not a good figure within the peloton. Last year he came all into disrepute following a complaint from Sébastien Reichenbach (Groupama-FDJ).
