LOS ANGELES – The natural fires in California are larger. Tuesday, there were again seventeen new fires. The Mendocino fires are now the largest in the history of the American state. There are 117.000 hectares of forest and nature reserve in flames, went by the Mendocino Complex, as the fires have been baptized.
The fire has 75 houses destroyed, more than 23,000 people have their house to leave. All Over California trying to 14,000 firefighters have the fire under control. The plumes of smoke are off the coast of Los Angeles.
The fires extend still. According to a meteorologist it looks not that the weather will help the fire to reduce. It remains warm and dry. The temperature may be in the coming days up to 43 degrees.
California had last year also had to contend with large natural fires. In the regions of Santa Barbara and Ventura burned when an area of about 114.078 acres.
