Paolo Maldini will return to the battle of AC Milan. The former defender is appointed as director of football development, says the Italian football club.
The fifty-year-old Maldini made in 1985, his debut in the first team of Milan. The linkerverdediger played over a thousand matches. In 2009 stopped Maldini football. He won five times the Champions League with Milan and seven times the Italian national championship.
“Maldini means a lot for Milan. It was a privilege to be allowed to see play. His experience and leadership qualities in his new position to good use,” said Paolo Scaroni, chairman of AC Milan.
