Seven hikers on Corsica swept away by a strong swollen river. Four of them came to the accident to the life, it’s going to be three adults and a child. One person is still missing, messages newsradio, Franceinfo, and other French media Wednesday night.
The accident happened in a ravine near Soccia, northeast of the capital Ajaccio. It had heavily rained in the region. Among the dead are a father and his son. One of the two survivors would be the mother of the deceased child. The emergency services also put helicopters in.
The island in the Mediterranean Sea, which is officially part of France, is a popular holiday resort.
