Chelsea-coach Sarri hopes still longer stay of Courtois and Hazard: “The toppers”

Maurizio Sarri, since this summer, coach of Chelsea, is hoping still that game, Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard next season at Stamford Bridge playing football. “It is going to be top players, and every club wants to be top players. We try to make this possible,” said the 59-year-old Italian Thursday on the clubwebsite.

A departure from both the Red Devils out of London is already hanging longer in the air. Especially after a strong world cup, where Courtois was declared goalkeeper of the tournament and Hazard only the Croatian Luka Modric for themselves had to endure as best player, it seems the duo on the way to the exit. But a half months after the end of the world cup, there is still no breakthrough, and the two are still owned by Chelsea.

Sarri follows both files on the foot. The Italian is keen on his debut to do better than the disappointing fifth place in the Premier League last season and therefore counts on the two Belgians. “Saturday, I see them for the first time”, said the trainer. “At this moment, I don’t know how things are and there is no news. Courtois and Hazard are top, and every club wants, are decisive players. We are trying to do.”
