Many Dutch people enjoy the exceptional summer weather, but for owners of cinemas are the tropical temperatures, bad news.
The Dutch went the past half year less often to the movie. The high temperatures are the main culprit, argues ABN AMRO in a new report.
The visit to cinema rose in the first six months of this year, a 12.6-percent compared to the same period last year. That decline is, according to the bank directly link to the nice weather in the same period. So it was in april, much warmer than last year and selling the cinemas in that month, much less tickets. Movie theaters must be the hot weather with less visitors.
