Frank Miller buys the rights to 'Sin City' return

The rights of ‘Sin City’ are back in the portfolio of Frank Miller, the writer of the book series and also director of the two eponymous films. He bought the rights back from the bankrupt former Weinstein Company, writes The Hollywood Reporter.

Miller closed a deal with Lantern Capital Partners. Together, they bought the rights to several movies and series. In total, there are 289 million dollars deposited for the rights to just about all mediafranchises of The Weinstein Company. Miller gets “his” Sin Cty’-rights, including the rights of the graphic novel series. However, it is very doubtful whether there ever was a ‘Sin City’television series will come. Various media suspect earlier that Miller, a third movie will make. The first ‘Sin City’ was published in 2005. The second, ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’, came out in 2014.
