The cast of the first two “Guardians of the Galaxy”films has established itself as one man behind the American director James Gunn gathered. Gunn was recently fired because he, years ago, in a series of tweets jokes about pedophilia and rape.
“I don’t support the inappropriate jokes that years ago he made, but he is a good person,” writes Chris Pratt, one of the actors from “Guardians of the Galaxy”, on Instagram. “Personally, I would like to see it return as a director for part three.”
Together with his fellow actors signed Pratt further in an open letter. “We are all standing behind James Gunn”, says the actors, including Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, and Vin Diesel. “We were all in shock by his sudden dismissal and have deliberately ten days been waiting to respond so that we could reflect, pray, listen and discuss.”
“During that period, we were encouraged by the massive support from fans and members of the media who want James back as a director of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ is appointed.
