Barry Atsma has a role in an American series to tackle. The Dutch actor is soon to be seen in the sf-thriller The Smoke, which Liberty Global is being developed in collaboration with producer Lionsgate. The series, which is set in the future, it is in America, with channel Starz to see; in the Netherlands, Ziggo, the series, exclusive of broadcasting.
The Smoke is about a woman who wakes up in London surrounded by a large number of seem. She has no idea what has happened and how they ended up, but find that they have a high-level official in a secret British service for people who are psychic. Atsma plays an important supporting role as Peter van Syoc, a psychotic key figure in a crime syndicate known as The Lugat.
The series is being recorded in London. Atsma will be in the series to see his next great actors like Emma Greenwell (True Blood), Joely Richardson (Nip / Tuck) and Olivia Munn (The Newsroom).
