Police picks up migrants with false papers

ATHENS – The Greek police has in less than a week time, dozens of migrants arrested were in the possession of false papers. They tried to travel to destinations elsewhere in Europe, reported the police on Monday.

Alone in Crete in the last days 66 people held. They wanted to at the airports of Heraklion, Chania and Sitia with falsified travel documents to board planes to countries in Western and Central Europe.

The migrants hope to take advantage of the hustle and bustle during the tourist season. Human traffickers do, now that the balkan route largely closed, according to the police with this alternative is good business.
