Jonathan Rhys Meyers: ’At airports too much alcohol’

Jonathan Rhys Meyers finds it difficult to get at airports. The actor, who is struggling with an alcohol problem, said in an interview with the Mail on Sunday. “You shouldn’t smoke and are surrounded by alcohol,” he says.

The Irish actor has already a number of times in a rehab clinic sat. Says Jonathan not bother to have the drink, but if he’s on a trip, this becomes more difficult.

At the beginning of July came Jonathan in the news when he quarrelled with his wife Mara Lane. The couple got mot during a flight to Los Angeles because Jonathan a drink and wanted to order. He has after the incident apologized for his behavior and says since then, no more to have drunk.

Jonathan claims that he is not an alcoholic. According to his own words, he has simply a behavioral problem when there is liquor in the game.

Jonathan in 2007, was arrested at the airport of Dublin, and four years later was re-miss in Paris. He was then again arrested, because he was drunk and for any problems caused. “Airports are hard for me, because they have you there for three hours, you can’t smoke and you are surrounded alcohol”, he said. He would not, however, plead as an excuse.
