CBS boss Leslie Moonves is allowed to continue despite allegations

The discredited Leslie Moonves may provisionally serve as ceo of the American television network CBS. However, there is an official investigation into the allegations, as has the board of directors, according to American media Monday decided.

Until the research is completed, no further steps have been taken. A meeting of shareholders, August 10, in the agenda, has been postponed until further notice.

The 68-year-old Moonves leads CBS since 2003. He is regarded as one of the most powerful men in Hollywood. Last week published The New Yorker an article in which six women accuse him of sexual misconduct. He would have been found guilty of unwanted kissing and touching. The incidents on which the allegations relate would years back.
