The tanks and other decommissioned military vehicles were Saturday in lowered into the Mediterranean Sea, three miles off the coast of the port city of Sidon. “This is a paradise for divers and a place where marine life can develop,” said Kamel Kozbar, of the organization Friends of the coast or the land of Sidon, to AFP.
