The 39-year-old Peruvian striker Claudio Pizarro will surprisingly return to Werder Bremen, the German Bundesligaclub him a year ago, no new contract offered.
He starts for the fifth time in his career at a time at Werder. ,,We have decided that Claudio at our club are active career should complete,” said chairman Frank Baumann. ,,We can have a striker with his qualities and experience to good use. He can also be of great value for our young players.”
