Greek town of Mati commemorates victims

MATI – In the Greek town of Mati, are Sunday, the victims remembered of the large natural fire earlier this week. Grieving people were in a church together, where they had a candle arose for the deceased. “Some have survived it, but for those who died, I hope that they make in the sky”, and had a 77-year-old inhabitant know.

The natural fire destroyed a large part of the village. At least 88 people were killed and rescuers are still searching for missing persons.

The Greek government got a lot of criticism on him because of the disaster. The opposition called Sunday on the government for clarity on the number of people still missing.
