AS Monaco has Friday strengthened with the Russian midfielder Aleksandr Golovin. The 22-year-old Golovin comes from CSKA Moscow and a draw in the Stade Louis II a contract for five seasons. Monaco CEO Vadim Vasilyev confirmed on the clubwebsite that several very large European clubs were interested in the Rus.
Golovin, a jeugdproduct of CSKA Moscow, made in 2015 at age eighteen his debut for the club from the capital. Over the past three seasons, he came to 113 official matches for the Muscovites. In 2016 he won the Russian title.
The 23-fold Russian international shone this past summer at the world cup in their own country, where Russia surprisingly doorstootte to the quarter-finals. The Russians vloerden Spain after penalty kicks, but lost also from eleven metres of Croatia.
