Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff on Sunday for the last show in the Netherlands. The seventy years of Jamaican, who is on his farewell tour, on stage during Reggae Rotterdam Festival.
James Chambers, better known as Jimmy Cliff, scored international hits such as Reggae Night Many Rivers To Cross and Hakuna Matata. Also The Harder They Come became a worldwide hit. Cliff played in 1972, starring in the eponymous film, the first Jamaican feature film.
Cliff has won several grammys and in 2010 a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He is the second reggae artist in the Hall of Fame was recorded, after Bob Marley.
The Jamaican, who earlier this year announced to stop action, is the biggest crowd puller of the second edition of the Reggae Rotterdam Festival. Sunday, also, among others, Mr Vegas, Richie Spice and Popcaan in the Forest (Kralingse bos).
