The film A Star Is Born, in which Lady Gaga plays the main character, is experiencing its world premiere at the Venice film Festival. The premiere is on the 31st of August, reports Variety. The film will be in October released in the cinemas.
The film, already the fourth remake of the original, from 1937, is the directorial debut of Bradley Cooper and running in Venice out of the competition for the Golden Lion.
A Star Is Born is about a young actress who is becoming more and more famous, while the career of her older mentor and beloved downhill. Bradley Cooper plays one of the lead roles in the film.
The Venice film festival begins on August 29 with the opening film of the First Man by Damien Chazelle and lasts until 8 september.
