Tom Saintfiet (45) has been appointed as head coach of the Gambia. He put his signature under a contract for nine months. That has the Gambian football association on Tuesday confirmed on its website.
Saintfiet should the Gambia to qualify for the Africa Cup 2019. His contract expires at the end of the qualifications. In qualifying group D lost to Gambia in the first match with 1-0 from Benin.
