PALMA DE MALLORCA – A German tourist has drowned by a high wave, the Balearic islands suddenly found. The wave of one and a half metres high, is also “a mini-tsunami” and reached Monday, the Spanish islands of Mallorca and Menorca in the Mediterranean Sea.
A 52-year-old German tourist who, with his wife and two children on the coast of the southeast of Mallorca, swam, was taken by surprise by the tsunami. The whole family was swept away, and the mother knew the coast with her daughter to achieve. Father and son were by-standers out of the water, but the father proved to be now deceased, reported Spanish media Tuesday.
