Kensington played Saturday night for the first time in the largest stadium of the Netherlands, the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The Utrecht-based band was after the sold-out show in the clouds.

“Our love for you is infinite. This was the best night of our lives”, writes Kensington on Instagram. On the accompanying picture, are the four band members: Eloi, Casper, Jan and Niles to see, with the backdrop of more than 50,000 fans.

After Kensington in the last few years, ten times in the Ziggo Dome sold out, wanted the band this time even bigger deal. Never before had in our country a Dutch band, a gig of this size. The greatest possible stage, the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam, can now of the bucketlist. “The need now is not more great, greater, greatest. That is very strange, because if you have achieved, you have achieved that and it is not a goal in itself more,” said guitarist Casper Starreveld prior to the performance. “We are going to focus on more special things to do that are challenging.”
