TILBURG – Willem II, the New Zealand goalkeeper Michael Woud contracted.
Technical director Joris Mathijsen and the new goalkeeper Michael Woud.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper comes over Sunderland, and signed a contract for two seasons in Tilburg. Forest comes from Auckland and is 1.96 meters long. He also has Dutch roots, so he also is in possession of a Dutch passport.
Forest played in the national youth teams of New Zealand and came to one international match for the A-team. “We pick up a talented keeper in the house that the competition engages with our current keepers,” explains technical director Joris Mathijsen the arrival of Forest.
The advent of Forest means the second player from New Zealand in three days time for Willem II. Earlier this week strengthened the people of tilburg with the 20-year-old full-James McGarry.
