The family of Tom Petty unveiled yesterday an unpublished song by the American rocker Tom Petty, who died last year, a taste of a posthumous albumkoffer which from september will be sold.
“Keep A Little Soul” comes along with a film consisting of concertafbeeldingen and personal archives of the artist. The number was found between the recordings of the album “Long After Dark” 1982, still known to the rare use of synthesizers by the rocker.
“Keep A Little Soul” will be part of a box with four cd’s called “An American Treasure”, and comes out on the 28th of september. According to Adria and Dana Petty, respectively the daughter and the widow of the artist, covers the box of the four decades of the fertile career of Tom Petty.
The lead singer of the Heartbreakers, whose songs like “I Won’t Back Down” or “Free Fallin” the success had made it, died in October 2017, to a drug overdose in his residence in Malibu, California.
