INNSBRUCK – The German minister Horst Seehofer of the Interior hopes at the end of July or beginning of August, concluding an agreement with Italy over the return of migrants. That intention is to both countries pronounced, said Seehofer after a meeting with his Italian counterpart, Matteo Salvini in Innsbruck.
Also, it will be further talked about the assistance to migrants at sea. “That is also a legitimate concern of Italy,” said the German minister. Salvini made after the end of the meeting clear that Italy was not a single migrant back as the European Union, not its outer borders secure.
Seehofer, who in their own country, the migration on the striker drifted, spoke of a good atmosphere during the interview. “The spirit today was very solution-oriented, but between a good start and a real solution at the end are often difficult discussions.”
