Richard cut his family holiday in Thailand to help in the rescue operation. He is a physician, has thirty years of experience as a diver and had already had people from a flooded cave saved. So reports Nieuwsblad.
The Australian played a key role in the mission of the twelve football players and their coach are out to get. He was even working with three Thai Navy Seals the last, that eventually the cave left. A few hours after the heroic rescue, got Richard a heartbreaking message. He was told that his father had died.
