ATHENS – Archaeologists in Greece, the oldest copy of the famous poem the Odyssey found. A team of Greek and German researchers found the poem of Homer on a clay tablet in Olympia.
Tablet is believed to date from 300 years after Christ.
On the tablet are thirteen verses of the poem that is about the wanderings of the hero Odysseus. Supposedly, the poem was written around 800 Bc. The tablet is believed to date from 300 years after Christ, so the ministry of Culture in Greece has announced.
The inscription is to follow the ministry of great archaeological, literary and historical value.
