The Rotterdam cinema Kino dedicates this summer a major retrospective of the American director Terry Gilliam. On the occasion of the release of his latest film, The man who killed Don Quixote, shows the theatre in July and August a large number of his classics.
Under the heading of ‘Captain Chaos’ to pass through Brazil, 12 Monkeys, The Fisher King and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas revue. Most of the films of Gilliam received rave reviews and won cupboards full of prices.
Before he become a movie director, broke Gilliam by, as part of the iconic British komediegezelschap Monty Python. He was responsible for the insane animated movies.
