Brussels – A part of the tramverkeer in Brussels has come to a standstill because someone has a cable to the electricity system of the catenary tried to join, sign Bruzz.
The outage lasts for a few hours.
Lines 3, 4, 82, and 51 don’t drive, confirms a spokesperson Françoise Ledune of the Society for the Intercommunaal Transport in Brussels (STIB-mivb). The outage lasts for a few hours and there is replacement transport used.
The STIB declares that the cable to the electricity system at the entrance of the Grondwettunnel was hung. “By the weight of that cable is a pipe loose when a tram passed,” said the spokesman. The overhead wires would be loose.
