Noel Gallagher has no confidence that the English national football team and the football world championships going to win. That he left Friday night, much to the dismay of his audience, clearly noticeable during his performance at the festival in Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre, reports Mirror.
The former Oasis frontman responded when the audience flocking the voetballied It’s Coming Home to fly. The song dates from 1996 and is about how the English team in the cup have to bring back to the birthplace of football. “That’s going to (fucking) really not going to happen,” said Gallagher, giving him a loud booing from the audience in return. Undaunted and continued Gallagher, bearing a new number.
Soon it will turn out, or Noel’s pessimism was justified. At the time of writing it seems the singer is quite wrong and it seems that the English team is winning.
