The bullet is through the church: the American filmmaker Alan Taylor will be in the regiestoel sit for the prequel film of ‘The Sopranos’, so reports entertainmentmagazine Deadline. Taylor directed previously for several episodes of ‘The Sopranos’, as well as from other prestigious HBO series like ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Boardwalk Empire’, ‘Deadwood’ and ‘Sex and the City’.
In march it became known that a script from ‘The Sopranos’creator David Chase and Lawrence Konner, who also has a few episodes of the famous maffiareeks wrote, was purchased by Hollywoodfilmstudio New Line Cinema. The working title of the film is ‘The Many Saints or Newark’, the story takes place in the 60’s in Newark, New Jersey.
Taylor directed next episodes for tv series such as the AMC series ‘Mad Men’ and the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Boardwalk Empire’ also a few feature films, such as ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’, ‘Kill the Poor’, ‘Thor: The Dark World’ and ‘Terminator Genisys’.
