Pete Davidson, the fiancé of singer Ariana Grande, has the anger of the relatives of the victims of the attack in Manchester on the neck removed, after the Sunday Mirror recently wrote about a practical joke that the Saturday Night Live comedian made in October 2017.
A mother of one of the 22 victims who were killed in the attack after a concert of Ariana Grande called the joke ’heartbreaking’ and ’outrageous’.
Charlotte Hodgson, the mother of the 15-year-old victim Olivia Campbell-Hardy, tells the British newspaper: “Anyone who jokes about this situation is disgusting and I think that he can publicly have to apologize.”
Pete joked at the time that Ariana then had to know how famous she was, ’because Britney Spears has never had an attack during a concert had’. He is known to joke about sensitive issues. So even his father, a firefighter who died in the attacks on the Twin Towers on 11 september, has been a subject.
Jade Clough, a survivor of the attack at the concert, called Davidon’s jokes ’disgusting’. “I’m still there every day suffers from, I still have nightmares and Ariana themselves struggling with a post-traumatic-stressstoornis. What the hell?”
She continues: “This is not something you joke about. This was a terrorist attack aimed at children.”
Well Pete, if Ariana, who within a few weeks is betrothed, have not yet commented on the controversy.
