Roger Federer (ATP 2) is Monday easily placed for the second round of Wimbledon. He defeated the Serbian Dusan Lajovic (ATP 58) 6-1, 6-3 and 6-4. In 1 hour and 19 minutes the job was done.
The Swiss, the first seed, playing in his next game against the Slovaak Lukas Lacko (ATP 73) or the French qualifier Benjamin Bonzi (ATP 284).
The 36-year-old Federer goes for a ninth title on the grass of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. He won the tournament in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2017.
