White shark spotted in Mallorca

AMSTERDAM – Travellers who are soon to go to Spain, may need to be careful on Mallorca. Near the town is a great white shark spotted. According to scientists, it’s remarkable: the last time that the white shark was seen, it was thirty years ago.

This ’mensenhaai’ was spotted near Mallorca.

The researchers were on a scientific expedition when she, by chance, on the white shark encountered. They photographed the animals and shared their photo on Facebook. The shark was about five feet long. The animal was photographed at Cabrera island, 13 kilometres off the coast.

White sharks, which also mensenhaai’ are called, can be very aggressive and attack regular people, usually in Australia, South Africa or on islands in Central America. They appear regularly in the news because of attacks on surfers.
