Team Education First-Drapac last Thursday, his selection announced for the Tour de France. The team takes Sep Vanmarcke and stands in the service of the Colombian Rigoberto Uran, who last year finished second in the Tour.

The Colombian will have three riders at his side who last year were: the Frenchman Pierre Rolland, who all stages, the Australian Simon Clarke, and the American Tayler Phinney. Two riders, New Zealander Tom Scully and the Colombian Dani Martinez, for the first time to the Tour. The selection is rounded out by the American climber Lawson Craddock and Sep Vanmarcke. For the 29-year old West-Flemish, a specialist of the kasseiklassiekers, is his fifth Tour.
The 31-year-old Uran rides also for the fifth time in the Tour. Last year he finished in 54 seconds of the British winner Chris Froome. Never won a Colombian in the Tour of France.
