JAKARTA – The Indonesian rescue service in the Lake with the help of onderwaterdrones human remains have been found. The remains are believed to be of passengers of the ferry that was there eleven days ago, sank.
The 17-metre-long wooden ferry capsized during a storm and sank in the about 450 m deep lake on the island of Sumatra. Surely 190 people are still missing. Three bodies have been salvaged. Eighteen people survived the disaster, including the captain.
The video by a remote-controlled submarine are included, showed human remains, motorcycles, and ropes of the ferry at a depth of 450 metres.
After finding these objects is the next task to investigate how the bodies should be recovered”, said the chief of the national rescue service.
