MOSCOW – The summit meeting between the American president Donald Trump and his Russian ambtsgenoot Vladimir Putin on July 16 in the Finnish capital Helsinki. The Kremlin has announced on Thursday. The White House followed shortly thereafter with the same notice.
Russia and the U.S. were the Wednesday to agree on the convening of the meeting and about the agenda. The two heads of state will be, among other things, the relationship between the two countries and discuss international issues such as the war in Syria. Helsinki came earlier this week in the corridors to the surface as a possible place of the action.
Trump is on 11 and 12 July at the NATO summit in Brussels.
