Kirsten Flipkens (WTA 51) has on Thursday placed for the final of the ITF tournament in the Uk, Southsea (grass/ $ 100,000).
As the second seed knocked Flipkens in the semi-finals is Frenchwoman Pauline Parmentier (WTA 71) in two sets: 6-3 and 6-2. The party took an hour and seven minutes. In the final awaits the winner of the other semi-final between the American Jennifer Brady (WTA 75) and britain’s Katie Boulter (WTA 144).
Flipkens makes hunting a thirteenth ITF title, the first since 2012. Also on the WTA-circuit picked up the Belgian all once of the race, in 2012 in Quebec. ‘Flipper’ has in addition, three WTA and one ITF title in doubles.
