MOSCOW – Russian police has sixteen locations cleared in world cup city of Rostov. In the Topos Congress Hotel there was a bomb alert. It proved to be a false alarm. Around 1.30 reported to the police that all hotels and restaurants again are released.
The other hotels and restaurants were evacuated as part of the routine, reported to the police. Nowhere were “dangerous objects” found.”
The Topos Congress-Hotel is on the list of official CHAMPIONSHIPS hotels of the wereldvoetbalbond FIFA. Emergency services were to the hotel pulled up with police vehicles, ambulances and sniffer dogs, say witnesses. Outside the hotel were evacuated guests, but by the Russian secret service.
Rostov is one of the eleven host cities of the world cup. Tuesday night was the match between Croatia and Iceland played. The Croats won with 2-1.
